Get ready for the 2027 college baseball season with 2027 NCAA Baseball Rules Training, a 14-class live online series designed to help college baseball umpires understand the rules, apply them to game situations, and clearly explain their calls.
Classes run October 14, 2026–January 20, 2027, from 7:30–9:00 p.m. Central on Google Meet. Topics include pitching rules, fair/foul and catch/no-catch decisions, base running, appeals, substitutions, obstruction, interference, balks, replay, and ruling communication.
Each week combines a Sunday pretest, live instruction and discussion, and a Thursday post-test to reinforce learning and measure progress. Sessions feature rulebook highlights, play clips, live polls, and 3D coverage simulations.
Classes meet primarily on Wednesdays. There is no class November 25, and the December 21 and December 29 sessions take place on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
